my last day of high school

It's so hard to believe that it's my last day of high school. A year ago, when watching the seniors perform at the last day assembly, I remember thinking to myself, it's going to take so long for us to be in their position. But it really hasn't been long at all. My senior year went by so fast. Especially this second semester. Because we seniors were so busy in the first semester with college applications as well as school work, time went by faster because we had a lot to do. Tommorow is skip day, and I can't believe that it was a year ago when we were the juniors that made our "senior shirts" that we wore to school on that day. When a senior friend of mine told me that senior year goes by really fast, I found it hard to believe considering all of the events we have during senior year. It seemed as if the year would take forever to complete. But he was definately right, because this year did indeed go by extremely quick. Baccalaureate is this weekend, and I can remember many years ago when I attended my brother and sister's baccalaureate ceremony. They looked so old to me, and now I can't believe that it's my turn.
