UW. Huskies.
As the time gets closer to leave for college, I find myself getting more and more scared and intimidated. Since the school is so huge, I know I'm going to be really intimidated when I arrive there. I'm afraid that college is going to be really hard and I won't be able to handle it. I'm going to miss my family, my dog, my friends, and the warm weather. I hope I can adjust well to the cold and rainy weather. But since my sister attended UW as well, I already have many warm jackets and she can help me prepare for the weather, the city, and the school. Many of my friends are also attending UW, but I doubt I will be hanging out with them much. They are all paired up with each other and plan to room together, but I have chosen to room with a random person that I am paired up with. I think this is a better strategy to meet people, but I also think that rooming with someone you know is beneficial to becoming more adjusted to college life and it can also serve as a sense of security. I'm excited!
